PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We apply CMMI® Level 3 project management practices with subject matter expertise, PMP® project management skills and management strategies/capabilities to manage project initiation through delivery to ensure we provide a solution that meets all project goals within project constraints including scope, schedule, quality, and budget. QUALITY ASSURANCE SERVICES

CTC’s Technology Quality Assurance (QA) professionals provide all level of quality assurance (QA) expertise to ensure products meet customer requirements and business objectives prevent defects. QA includes a planned and systematic approach to testing, peer reviews, and process audits. Quality assurance services are compliant with SEI CMMI Level 3 practices and ISO 9001:2015 practices.

ACQUISITION SUPPORT

CTC does not believe in the “one size fits all” solution to Acquisitions. We work to understand the needs of our customer and tailor a solution to meet and often surpass the needs of the customer. RISK MANAGEMENT

CTC has developed a formal systematic approach to the identification, assessment, and management of project risks. Risk management practices (based on PMI and SEI CMMI practices) are used to minimize, monitor, and control the probability of events that can have a negative impact on a project through the development of mitigation strategies and contingency planning.

CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT

CajunTech’s Configuration Management capabilities use a formal management approach to change management so that a product or system maintains its integrity over time. Our CM managers ensure that project changes are documented, traceable, and applied in a controlled manner so that the stability and security of the product is not compromised, and work products are accurate and consistent. CM is implemented using industry tools and comprehensive SEI CMMI based practices across all products and services.

WORK BREAK DOWN STRUCTURES

At CTC, project planning starts with a good Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). CTC’s project managers use this key program management tool to accurately define and scope the total project. The WBS is a decomposition of the project into smaller components (phases, deliverables, and work efforts), allowing for clear resource allocation, better estimating, and monitoring and controlling the project. The WBS is the basis for the development of the project IMS.
